About O3L

The Office of Lifelong Learning (O3L) is the home of the School of Education’s continuous learning [non-credit] programming, offered outside of our traditional academic departments. It is an important part of the School’s Education Passport initiative dedicated to extending the School’s role as a leading professional and personal development innovator helping individuals of all ages engage in learning experiences meaningful to them.

While many learning opportunities are available through O3L without a charge to the student, the majority of those that result in a competency based micro-credential that has a fee attached. Registrants may earn badges, certificates, professional development credit, and/or continuing education units upon demonstrated competency in designated learning activities like courses and workshops. Coupled with courses for academic credit offerings of SoE, O3L products will enable the learner to create an “Education Passport” to the future.

O3L is proud to collaborate with School of Education faculty, students, staff; and alumni; other members of the Drexel community; subject matters experts currently unaffiliated with Drexel; and businesses that have created non-credit programming, to deliver high-quality programs to our learner community.
